We are looking for girls who are enthusiastic and who take an interest in the world around them, as well as those with particular talents in a range of extra-curricular activities.
Girls are usually admitted to the Junior School at the age of seven for entry into Year 3. An Assessment Test is held in January each year (for entry in September of that year). Candidates need to demonstrate a good level of competence in English, Mathematics and Verbal Reasoning.
Entrance tests for girls wishing to enter Years 4, 5 or 6 can be arranged at any time during the year. If a child passes the assessment but no place is available, her name is placed on a waiting list. Headteachers' reports and Key Stage 1 results are taken into account before final offers are made.
For entry into the Junior School please contact the Secretary, Mrs Wright, on 01204 434761 or at juniorgirls@boltonschool.org
