On behalf of the Parents' Association I would like to say a huge THANK YOU for supporting our Christmas Far. It had been a very difficult week in school, but it was lovely to see so many of you there, and it was heart warming to bring a little bit of happiness back into the school.
Your donations were very generous - we were able to make 16 luxury hampers, and the bottle and sweet tombolas were very well stacked. Thank you also for the wonderful array of cakes – these were very much appreciated by those fortunate enough to taste them before they sold out!
I would also like to extend my thanks to the committee – as you will appreciate, much organising, planning, and purchasing had been taking place in the weeks leading up to the Fair and all the committee members put a lot of time and effort in to making the evening such a success. Thanks also to Mr. Hough for taking photos – these will appear here shortly.
CONGRATULATIONS to all the winners, who were…….
Nintendo Wii Console – James Beardsworth Year 7
IPOD Nano – Frosty the Snowman – George Blackwell 4A
Bolton Wanderers signed football for Spot the Ball – David Metcalfe
£100 game Voucher (Pokemon Game) – Camerupt – Peter Roberts 5B

The Fair made in the region of £2000 profit, and we will keep you all updated as to how this money will be spent for your boys. We have been able to provide a variety of extra curricular activities this year – the recent Horrible Histories trip – and the many other visits that we have documented in our previous newsletters.
Our next event will be the Family Quiz Night on Friday February 29th – so put the date in your diaries now!
Thank you for your continued support.
