Pupils from Bolton School Girls' Division Junior School recently enjoyed an entertaining session in the drama studio from the well-known children's author Peter J Murray.  He talked to the children about how he first became an author and where the ideas for his books come from.  He discussed character creation and the development of plot and how he puts his books together.  This was all done in the context of acting out scenes from his new book Bonebreaker, Peter having dressed the girls as Viking children who appear in the book.  His humorous and engaging style delighted the children.  Peter also read extracts from his book and some scary poems.
