Lifelong friendships are formed at Bolton School and former students remember their days here with great affection. Consequently, active membership of our Old Boys' and Old Girls' Associations is on the increase.
The School has a history of producing top class scholars and achievers and our former pupils’ network is both illustrious and global. Household names include Sir Ian McKellen, Nigel Short, Monica Ali, Baroness Taylor of Bolton, the Nobel Prize Winner Sir Harry Kroto, Dame Janet Smith, Baroness Morris of Bolton, Ann Taylor MP, Mark Radcliffe and Ralf Little.
