Our Pastoral System

Bolton School is often regarded as "a pastoral school” and we constantly endeavour to live up to this accolade.  It is certainly our aim to ensure that every member of the School community feels valued and respected.

We take very seriously the well being and progress of each individual pupil.  Teachers offer friendship and support and will closely monitor both the academic and social development of each pupil.

Behaviour at Bolton School is excellent and we encourage pupils to treat each other with respect, courtesy and consideration.  Pupils are praised and rewarded for improved efforts and good work, and also for good behaviour and acts of kindness.  Their efforts are often publicly commended.

We actively encourage parents to involve themselves as much as possible in School life and they should contact the School at anytime if they have any concerns about their child.

This is a happy, friendly and safe environment which encourages good behaviour and success.
