Pupils can attend Bolton School from birth through to eighteen years of age. Our 32 acre campus incorporates our family of schools - a co-educational nursery and infant school and single sex, junior and senior schools. We believe that happy pupils learn better and we place great importance on settling new arrivals into a safe and secure school environment.
Throughout all our schools we cater for different learning styles and pride ourselves on knowing when to push and when to reassure. There is much diversity within our student body and we value individual differences and personalities. Over 290 pupils receive bursary assistance and our fleet of 22 private coaches means we draw from a large catchment area across the North-West.
Our academic results rank us amongst the top schools in the country but we also seek to develop the whole person. A productive and supportive atmosphere underpins all our activities and pupils build confidence and self-esteem through a staggering array of extra curricular opportunities and a highly-evolved pastoral system. Pupils will learn the rewards of diligence and will develop self-belief whilst respecting others. They will take with them great schooldays memories and friendships but they will also take with them an understanding of the importance of lifelong learning and an ability to face the challenges that this ever-changing world will present them with.
