Once again, pupils have performed extremely well at the annual Classical Association Reading Competition

another good year for classical scholars

 

Bolton School Boys' Division has had another good year at the annual Classical Association Latin and Greek Reading Competition.

 

Michael Durbar, a Year 11 pupil, won the Greek GCSE category - the School having won this category for three years in a row; Michael also came third in the GCSE Latin category.  Richard Edmond from Year 10 was also commended in the Greek GCSE category.

 

Adam Woolley and Alex Bott, both Year 8 pupils, were commended in the Beginners' Latin category.

 

The competition involved a dozen schools from across the North of England and was held in Chester on 12 March.
