The Intermediate and Senior Water Polo teams have made it through to the English Schools' Finals

Bolton School Boys' Division's Senior (16-18 years) and Intermediate (14-16 years) Water Polo teams have reached the English Swimming Schools’ Association’s (ESSA) final which will take place on 10 May 2008. 

 

Both teams played in the semi-finals at Walsall on 9 March and both played some excellent and attractive water polo against some strong opposition.

 

The Intermediate results were:

 

v Kings Grantham, drew 3-3

v Manchester Grammar School, won 3-2

v King Edwards School, lost 4-6 (in the 1st and 2nd play off)

 

The Senior results were:

 

v Kings Grantham, won 3-2

v Manchester Grammar School, won 4-2

v Trinity School, lost 4-6 (in the 1st and 2nd play off)

 

Mr Hayden Howard, the School’s Water Polo coach, said: "The boys have further enhanced the School’s high reputation in this sport.  The teams are training hard for the finals and are determined to reach the final game."
