pupils help develop worldwide rugby

Bolton School boys have collected 14 bags of rugby kit for the charity SOS Kit Aid.  The charity, sponsored by the International Rugby Board, aims to develop rugby in emerging nations.  Pupils were asked to donate their old rugby kit - boots, shirts, shorts, socks, tracksuits and the like.    The boys also donated 5 sets of old football goals.

The Parents' Association has also helped with the collection, donating a further 3 boxes.

SOS Kit Aid already helps nine emerging countries and has 56 more countries on the waiting list.

This was the first of several collections that will be made throughout the year.
