sixth former smashes u17 50m swim record
Daniel Sliwinksi of Bolton School Boys' Division has broken the British Junior 50 metre swim record. He recorded a time of 29.06 seconds, knocking almost a second off the previous record. He did this whilst competing in the Lancashire County Swimming Championships in Manchester. Daniel's performance at these games ensured that he qualifies for six different races in the British Swimming Championships which will take place in Manchester from 26 March - 1 April.
The name Sliwinski is one to remember as Daniel sets his sights on the 2012 Olympics. He now moves to the top of the junior rankings.
