Infant Department
Set in the grounds of Bolton School, Beech House, our Infant Department, provides a secure, attractive environment for the children. The department has existed since 1882 and moved into its current building, an imposing Victorian mansion, in 1928.
The classrooms are well-equipped, bright and stimulating and the Reception classes have access to outdoor play areas. Up-to-date computers are available in every classroom and there are a number of interactive whiteboards. There is a well-stocked library and a hall which is used for assemblies, music lessons and some PE lessons. In addition, many of the Senior School facilities are used by the children.
Teachers, nursery nurses and teaching assistants help the children to achieve high standards while making sure that they have plenty of fun, too. There is a real family feeling in Beech House and the staff make every effort to cater for individual needs and differences and to encourage the children to make the most of their talents.
