2007 saw the School's best ever Advanced Level examination results and some exceptional GCSE results.  These excellent results mean the Girls' Division has been highly ranked in the www.best-schools.co.uk national and comprehensive league tables.  The following positions have been attained:

57^th in the Best Schools’ Top 100 Senior Schools table

95^th in the Top 100 Senior Schools by UCAS Tariffs table

65^th in the Top 100 Senior Schools A and B Grades at A Level table

54^th in the Top 100 Senior Schools by A and A* Grades at GCSE Level table

At A Level the pass rate was 100% with no E grades at all.  A staggering 87% of entries were graded A or B and 61.3% were graded A.  A third of the cohort gained 3, 4 or 5 A grades; only one in thirty students nationally achieve this. 

At GCSE, 78.8% of entries were graded A* or A, of which 41.7% were A*.  The pass rate A*-C was 99.7%.  Ten girls achieved all A* grades.

These excellent results placed the School firmly in the First Division of Schools.  Depending upon which broadsheet you read, the Girls’ Division has been ranked as 64^th, 54^th or 39^th best school in the country.
