Project Workers from Fortalice attended the Girls' Division's Easter Celebration and were presented with a cheque for £1,848.29.
The money had been raised through a number of endeavours, with the bulk of it coming through a non-uniform day, a Year 7 Christmas Card design competition and a cake sale.
Mrs Richards, Headmistress, said: "Girls at Bolton School are always encouraged to do work for charities and I am delighted with their efforts in raising the best part of £2,000 for Fortalice - which is our chosen local charity."
Bolton Women's Aid, Fortalice is a charitable organisation established in 1977 in response to the growing demand for emergency accommodation and support services for women and children fleeing the devastating effects of domestic violence.
