Girls of Bolton School's Chamber Choir are set to perform "The Gallery Choir” part in Benjamin Britten's canata St Nicolas with The Bolton Choral Union and the Manchester Camerata at the Victoria Hall on Saturday 1 March at 7.30pm.   Tickets can be bought from the Albert Halls Ticket Unit (01204 334400).

The Chamber Choir consists of boys and girls, aged 14-18.  Their repertoire ranges from Renaissance motets and madrigals, through standard choral works including masses and requiems to modern classics and part songs.

The choir has performed in a number of European cities including Prague, Paris and Chartres and has broadcast for Radio 4’s “Morning Service”.  This year they will be undertaking a concert tour of Vienna which will include singing mass in a concert at the magnificent St Peter’s Church.
