We are delighted to report that ten of our girls have been selected to join the Lancashire Lacrosse A and B Squads—this represents almost one third of the entire squad.  Lori Andrew, Harriet Grundy, Antonia Heap and Rebecca Lewis have all been chosen to play in the A Squad, while Hollie Cunningham, Charlotte Greene, Alyssa Kay, Holly Pasquill, Lucy Pinkerton and Amy Wilkinson have been chosen to join the B Squad. The girls, who are from Years 9-13, will take part in the Northern Counties' Tournament, playing against Yorkshire and Cheshire. 

Lacrosse has long been part of our PE curriculum and the sport can also be pursued through lunchtime practices, yet we are one of only a handful of schools in the area to offer their girls such opportunities. Our lacrosse teams regularly travel to York, Chester, Manchester and Liverpool to take part in competitive games.
