Bolton School Girls' Division Year 12 (Under 17) Netball Team has reached the National Schools' Senior Netball Tournament Final (Under 18) which will be held in Bournemouth on 17 March.  Having already won the Greater Manchester Round, the girls competed in the North West Regional Round along with ten other teams.  The girls won their section and the semi-final.  Despite losing to Cardinal Newman in the final, they still go to the final as two teams progress from this heat.  Their achievement is all the more spectacular in that they are an under 17s team competing in a national under 18s tournament.

The team is made up of Sophie Barnett, Harriet Bradley, Olivia Edmondson, Katherine Pilling, Emily Sinclair, Charlotte Brabbin, April Pilling, Sophia Saunders and Zoe Lomax.
