Sophie Mather, who left Bolton School in 2004, is set to take the Mather String Quartet to Ambleside Parish Church on Wednesday 30 January 2008 at 11.00am. 

 

The Mather String Quartet hails from the Royal Northern College of Music and has been described as "brimming with talent" by The Observer.

 

The quartet will perform:

 

Mozart's Quartet in G, K156

Barber's Adagio for Strings

Shostakovich's Quartet No 7

Ravel's Quartet in F
