Our lively PSE programme is handled in a variety of ways.

Many issues are dealt with in the weekly PSE and Citizenship lesson led by the girls' Form Tutors. Topics which require specialist knowledge are dealt with by outside experts. Further elements of the programme are covered during the course of subject lessons and during the period following the Summer examinations, as well as in Form and Council meetings and in extra-curricular work. Special study and activity sessions also form part of the Year 7 residential visit to Stratford and the Year 9 visit to Patterdale Hall.

Issues considered include topics such as Presenting Oneself, Community Living, Personal Organisation, Study Skills, Bullying and Healthy Eating.

'The trip to Stratford was great fun. It gave us the opportunity to stay away with all our friends and have some independence. We also saw the battlements and dungeons at Warwick Castle which was brilliant.'
