Welcome to Bolton School's Development Office
The Development Office serves all of Bolton School's divisions.
Our objectives are:
-
To strengthen the School's relationship with Old Boys,
Old Girls, parents and other friends.
We aim to communicate School news and aspirations and organise
events to involve everyone in the life of the School.
-
To provide ongoing bursary funds so the School can
achieve Lord Leverhulme's founding vision - that opportunity should
not be restricted by means or background.
We do this by raising bursary support for increasing numbers of
talented young people who face financial contraints. We aim to
double the amount of funding available for bursaries by 2015.
-
To provide funds for the capital projects that are
needed for the School to continue developing as a beacon of
academic and pastoral excellence, but that are unaffordable within
the current budget.
By funding a variety of capital projects, Bolton School will be
able to expand its excellent facilities and remain one of the
leading independent schools in Northern England today, providing a
first class learning environment for all its pupils.
