Charity Work Rewarded by Trip of a Lifetime

Four pupils acted as ambassadors for the School and representatives for the North-West when they flew out to South Africa to coach in townships and watch the Second Test Match between The British and Irish Lions and South Africa, the World Champions, in Pretoria. The trip of a lifetime, which took place back in the Summer Term, was given to them by the Rugby Football Union (RFU) and Child Victims of Crime (CVOC) and was a reward for 16 pupils across the country for their Schools' outstanding contribution to the SOS IRB Kit Aid programme, a charity which collects sports kit and redistributes it to underprivileged children in South Africa.
