The Mayor and Mayoress of Bolton were the special
guests at a celebration of ten years of success for Bolton School's
Kidzone @ the Den. They joined Heads from the Girls'
Division, Boys' Division and Infant School, as well as teachers,
governors and staff for a buffet lunch.
Cutting the Kidzone birthday cake, the Mayor said: "I am
delighted to help celebrate the success of this childcare centre
and I am amazed at the facilities that are on offer to the children
here; I am sure they must have a lot of fun."
Miss Lindsay Williams, who has managed Kidzone for 9 years,
said: "I am immensely proud to celebrate this landmark
birthday. Kidzone is in exceptionally good health - bookings
are strong and we have just built a new, covered outdoor play
area. We look forward to the very busy summer months when
children will enjoy lots of indoor and outdoor activities, trips
and visits. We go from strength to strength."
Kidzone @ the Den offers a range of child care services for
children from 4 to 13 years throughout the year. During term
time children from Bolton School avail themselves of its facilities
both before and after school, whilst children from across Bolton
make use of it during the summer holidays. Further details are available on
the Kidzone website.
