Old Girl Awarded Great Exhibition Scholarship

Wednesday, 14 January 2015

Tejal Shanbhag’s passion for engineering has led to yet another success: she has been awarded an Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) Great Exhibition Scholarship, supported by the Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851. She is one of just ten undergraduates who have been selected for this scholarship, which represents £6000 over the next four years and comes alongside membership to the IET for the duration of her course.

This is fantastic news for Tejal, who left Bolton School in the summer of 2014 with four A* grades at A Level. She is now studying Engineering at Trinity College, Cambridge. She was also awarded a scholarship from the Institute of Mechanical Engineers in September.
