We encourage our children to think about others less fortunate
than themselves.
This year, at our Harvest and Christmas events, we raised money
for CLIC (a cancer charity for children) and a local charity which
helps street children in Romania. Our Harvest goods were donated to
a local organisation which helps the homeless.
Beech House children were asked to spare one or two of their
toys for the Bolton Lions to give to needy families in the area at
Christmas, and a Spring Readathon raised money for children's
cancer charities.
Each year, we hold a sale of cakes and biscuits for a good cause
and ask the children to help make the cakes and Year 2 to act as
shopkeepers.
