French in Beech House is taught by a native speaker. Children in
Reception have one lesson of 15 minutes a week. Year 1 pupils are
taught for 20 minutes and Year 2 for thirty minutes a week.
Accuracy of pronunciation is very important and is taught through
flash-cards, games and songs. The work is reinforced and progress
checked by 'fun' work sheets.
I like learning French because I like trying it when I'm on
holiday.
