A specialist music teacher takes two music lessons a week with each class. Through focused listening, composition and performance, our children develop musical skills including a sense of rhythm and of pitch. They particularly enjoy playing a variety of percussion instruments, working as individuals or as part of a group.

Music plays an important part in our Assemblies, our Harvest service, Christmas production and Year 2 concert.

We offer our Year 2 children the chance to have private piano lessons during the school day and we enjoy hearing them play in Assembly or at the Year 2 concert.

'I like music because you can use lots of instruments. I like the claves best.'
