Religious Education

Beech House children are introduced to different aspects of the major world faiths through story and discussion. Pictures, posters, artefacts, videos, photographs and visits to local places of worship are used to stimulate interest and explore beliefs and traditions. Our children are encouraged to share their experiences with their classes and festivals such as Diwali, Eid and Chinese New Year are celebrated through dressing up, creative activities and discussion.

Whole school Assemblies, held three times a week, consider moral and spiritual matters through stories, quiet reflection and music.

Parents are invited to join us for birthday assemblies as well as Harvest celebrations and a Christmas performance.

'The best thing that ever happened to me at Beech House was when I showed my hamster in Birthday Assembly. I felt really happy.'
