Beech House Steps It Up For Sport Relief

Friday, 18 March 2016

The whole of Beech House for in on the Sport Relief action, donating £1 each to come into School wearing sporty outfits – from ballet clothes to cricket whites, football kits to exercise gear! There was a real variety which showed the pupils’ wide range of sporting interests.

In the afternoon, the children were joined by the Nursery Class for Three- and Four-Year-Olds for a special ‘danceathon’ for Sport Relief.

Led by Mrs Donnelly, the children learned the moves to the Sport Relief dance to ‘Step It Up for Sport Relief’, the 2016 Sport Relief song, and had lots of fun stepping, jumping, running and hoola-hooping throughout the song. The children followed this by dancing along to ‘Superman’ – walking, skiing, swimming, flexing their muscles, and finally soaring like Superman!

The children really enjoyed showing off their dance moves for Sport Relief and also raising money for this excellent cause.
