"Bravo to all at the School, and heartiest thanks for their genuine devotion to our children and their futures. If there were to be one example for all schools to be modelled upon, Bolton School would be the natural choice."

Going to the Zoo

Tuesday, 02 December 2014

The Year 1 pupils took a trip to Blackpool Zoo for a day of learning about animals.

The girls and boys enjoyed a workshop on hot and cold habitats led by zoo staff. As well as learning about the different creatures that need hot or cold environments, they were able to meet - and stroke - a lizard!

They had a great time at the sea lion display, and lots of fun looking around the zoo at all the different animals. The boys were particularly excited to see the tigers and couldn't resist doing their own special impression of the big cats.
