"I remember my days at school vividly and with great affection. Bolton School has a great tradition in the liberal arts. I've always acted for the love of it and this first love was inspired at Hopefield, the school theatre."

Monday, 17 June 2013

The Bolton School Junior Boys’ swimming team took part in the National ESSA Finals at Sheffield.

The boys did very well and got through to both B finals, finishing overall 13th in the freestyle relay and 16th in the medley relay. Well done boys!

The team comprised of Year 6 pupils Guy Storey, James Leese-Weller, Gareth Edwards-Williams and Ben Turner.

One of the pupils taking part, James Leese-Weller, said: “The national swimming final at Ponds Forge was very good. There were lots of teams and we got into the B final on both races. It was a privilege to take part as we were swimming in an international swimming pool.”
