Still Time to Enrol for Entrance Exam

Tuesday, 04 January 2011

Parents still have time to enrol their boy in this year's Entrance Examination.

Boys are usually admitted to the Junior School at the age of seven for entry into Year 3. An Assessment Test will be held on:

Thursday 13 January 2011

for those pupils applying from schools other than Bolton School Infant School for entry in September 2011. Candidates need to demonstrate a good level of competence in English, Mathematics and Verbal Reasoning.

Entrance tests for boys wishing to enter Years 4, 5 or 6 can be arranged at any time during the year.  If a child passes the assessment but no place is available, his name is placed on a waiting list.  Headteachers' reports and Key Stage 1 results are taken into account before final offers are made.

For more information about entry into the Junior School and for a prospectus and entrance exam application form, please contact the School Secretary on 01204 434735 or at juniorboys@boltonschool.org
