"Hesketh House (Junior Girls' School) is a magical place of adventure, discovery, learning, friendship and joy. The girls, albeit within a modern, disciplined, hard-working atmosphere, appear each evening as though sprinkled in fairy dust."

Year 6 Art on Public Display

Monday, 14 February 2011

Year 6 boys at Bolton School have their art work on display at the Marketplace shopping centre in Bolton.

The exhibition features landscape paintings by the boys, which are done as part of the Year 6 art curriculum. The boys choose an image to paint and are taught the techniques by Art, Design & Technology Coordinator, Mr Tim Dickinson. The paintings make a colourful display with scenes ranging from beaches, countryside, the sea, mountains and waterfalls.

The work can be viewed by the public on the top floor of the shopping centre and there is a comments book available for the public to write in.
