"When I return to Bolton School to talk to pupils about entrepreneurship, my message is to 'go for it'. This is an attitude that I had instilled in me during my time at the school where my curiosity was fuelled and I became interested in ideas."

Caroline Plumb - CEO of Fresh Minds and youngest woman on Management Today's '35 under 35' list

Cubs

Bolton School has a flourishing Scout Group of Cub Scouts, Scouts and Explorer Scouts. The Cub Scout Pack is open to pupils from the Boys' and Girls' Junior Schools aged from approximately eight to ten and a half years old.

The Cub Blog can be found at http://cubs.boltonschool.me/

The termly programme of meetings can be found on the Blog.

The faithful team of voluntary Leaders put on a fun and varied programme each Wednesday and Thursday evening from 6.30 - 8.00pm, at the purpose-built Scout Headquarters - Brookside, at the very bottom of Ladybridge Lane. Occasional weekend trips and other activities are also arranged.

If your son or daughter is currently involved in Scouting we would encourage him to continue with his present Group. If you would be interested in a possible vacancy in the School Cub Scout Pack for your child, please contact Akela via school or return the slip enclosed with the Junior School Joining Information.

If you, as a parent, are able to offer help with the Cub Pack (no experience necessary but you will have to undergo DBS clearance) please let us know.
