Patterdale Hall is our own outdoor pursuits centre in the Lake
District. Located in idyllic surroundings at the southern end of
Lake Ullswater, the estate contains a working hill farm and a
hundred acres of garden and private woodland.
It is the ideal location for field studies, Duke of Edinburgh
Award expeditions, and multi-activity programmes for Junior and
Senior School pupils. Here, pupils can enjoy orienteering, sailing,
canoeing, kayaking, archery, gorge walking, a ropes adventure
course, rock climbing and abseiling.
All pupils from Y4 upwards spend 3 full days each year at the
centre partaking in a range of activities.
I like Patterdale Hall because when you get there it is
welcoming and there are fun activities.
