48 Year 6 boys at Bolton School put on their own art
exhibition in the Arts and Conference Centre at Bolton School, and
the same work is set to go on display at the Marketplace shopping
centre in Bolton.
The exhibition for parents and friends of Bolton School, was
organised by the boys themselves, and features acrylic landscape
paintings which are done as part of the Year 6 art curriculum. The
boys chose an image to paint and were taught the techniques by Art,
Design & Technology Coordinator, Mr Tim Dickinson. The
paintings make a colourful display with scenes ranging from
beaches, countryside, the sea, mountains and waterfalls.
In February the work will be exhibited in the Upper Hall of the
shopping centre. As a result of their successful two week
exhibition last year, they will be able to exhibit for a month this
year.
