Girls may also have the opportunity to join the Junior School on
one of its ski trips abroad. On alternate years, 32 Year 5 and 6
girls spend a week in Italy during the February Half Term holiday.
For the past few trips we have visited Claviere on the
Italian/French border which provides excellent skiing opportunities
for beginners and intermediates alike. Après ski activities are
organised in resort and may include skidoo rides, ice-skating,
bum-boarding.
We stay in a 3 star hotel which specialises in school parties,
within a short walk of the slopes. Girls participate in four hours
of ski school daily with experienced English-speaking
instructors.
"One of my favourite events would have to be the ski trip in
Italy. I had never been skiing before and it was so much fun. I had
never experienced anything so good in my life. It was great!"
