English Primary Schools' Chess Association Comes to Bolton School

Bolton School Girls’ Division hosted the North of England Under 9 EPSCA Chess Finals on Saturday 9 March 2013.  

Nearly two hundred children from as far afield as Yorkshire, Staffordshire and Nottingham, competed with each other in the School’s magnificent Great Hall. Parents, teachers and chess coaches alike appreciated the facilities which were the ideal setting for serious chess.

Pupils from Bolton School Junior Boys’ and Girls’ schools were well represented in the Manchester County Team:
