"We could not be more delighted with our son's progress at Beech House. His personal and social development has been remarkable. Academically we have seen him make excellent progress as well."

Girls Wear a Hat for Brain Tumour Research

Wednesday, 25 March 2015

A wonderful and flamboyant range of headwear was on display at Hesketh House, the Junior Girls’ School at Bolton School, as girls donned hats in order to raise funds for Brain Tumour Research. Staff also joined in and nobody impressed more than Headteacher, Mrs Brierley, in her knight’s helmet!

Girls had been asked to collect their loose change in jam jars over the past 6 weeks and brought in large amounts – it was thought the precise figure, likely to be hundreds of pounds, would be determined in several days’ time when somebody had counted all the 1 and 2p coins!

The national Wear a Hat Day will take place on Friday 27 April.
