"The classic Bolton School combination is hard work, good friends, challenging and thought-provoking teaching, a healthy desire to puncture the self-important and the sense that you can work hard to achieve things in life. "

Junior Girls Perform The Tempest

Friday, 18 June 2010

Year 6 Junior girls have given their opening performance of the Shakespeare play 'The Tempest' which they have been studying in English.

The girls gave an outstanding performance to an audience of their families and friends after working hard all week rehearsing, and they will give their second and final performance this evening. Pupils in Years 3, 4 and 5 were treated to the show earlier in the week during the school day which also helped prepare the girls for their big night!

It has become the tradition that Year 6 perform their interpretations of a Shakespeare play that they have undertaken in English close to the end of the Summer Term.
