"The classic Bolton School combination is hard work, good friends, challenging and thought-provoking teaching, a healthy desire to puncture the self-important and the sense that you can work hard to achieve things in life. "

Over £700 Raised on Charity Afternoon

Thursday, 04 July 2013

Pupils at Hesketh House raised over seven hundred pounds for charity with an afternoon of sweet treats!

The girls set up their own stalls to raise money – they sold cakes, sweets and cuddly toys and organised games such as guess the name of the teddy. A variety of charities will benefit from the afternoon as the girls each decided which charity to donate their proceeds to.

The girls organised all aspects of running their stalls, including advertising, collecting goods for sale and finally sending the money to their charities. The whole school entered into the spirit of the afternoon and the girls on the stalls are to be congratulated for all their hard work.
