Butterflies Bid Farewell

Friday, 10 July 2015

Children from the Butterfly Room who will go on to start school in September said goodbye to Bolton School’s Nursery at their Leavers’ Party this summer.

The children donned fancy dress or party outfits, and so the party was also attended by princesses and pirates, superheroes and sports stars! The Butterflies enjoyed a bouncy castle, lots of outdoor games and dancing to upbeat music as the sun shone down. They also tucked into specially made fruit slushies and collected a goody-bag from the pick-and-mix sweet stall.

Later in the afternoon, they had fun watching a ventriloquism show performed by Mr Tumbles the clown. He then led the children in playing lots of exciting party games!

The Butterflies had a fantastic time at their Leavers’ Party and went home bursting to tell their families all about the fun.
