Children Go Down to the Woods for Teddy Bears’ Picnic

Friday, 21 August 2015

The Caterpillar Room at Bolton School Nursery invited children to bring in their favourite teddy bear for a picnic!

The children and their stuffed companions ‘went down to the woods’ to enjoy their picnic lunch. The wooded area on the edge of the sports pitches on the main Bolton School campus was the perfect setting for the picnic!

As the afternoon went on, the weather turned and unfortunately the children and teddies had to make their way back inside. However, instead of returning straight to the Nursery, they went into the hall at Beech House Infants’ School to play some more wonderful games.

The children and staff had a great time in spite of the rain, and the Teddy Bears’ Picnic was a huge success.
