"Reluctantly, I wait for the holidays to come. I love coming to school. I am still doing cross country...the reason why I started was because Jessica Ennis inspired me."

Costumed Capers for Children in Need

Friday, 13 November 2015

Children at Bolton School’s Nursery took part in an array of activities for Children in Need!

All of the children came in fancy dress as superheroes for the day, with Ninja Turtles rubbing shoulders with Batman, Spider-Girl, Tinkerbelle, Superman and many other famous characters! The children played ‘Hide and Seek’ with Pudsey Bear and enjoyed various crafts. First Steps decorated biscuits with yellow icing and pictures of Pudsey for their parents to enjoy. Tweenies had great fun making delicious banana milkshakes, creating eye-patches just like Pudsey’s which they then could wear, and collaging pictures of Pudsey using tissue paper. Caterpillars and Butterflies played lots of super games and also had a go at making their own Pudsey cookies, which were delicious.

The children really enjoyed the activities for Children in Need, and donations from their parents will go to support the charity.

The Nursery had also arranged a raffle for a ‘Family Film Night’ Hamper and there was a silent auction for a beautifully decorated Pudsey Bear cake.
