"Reluctantly, I wait for the holidays to come. I love coming to school. I am still doing cross country...the reason why I started was because Jessica Ennis inspired me."

Mums Welcomed for Mothers’ Day

Friday, 04 March 2016

In honour of Mothers’ Day, families of the children at Bolton School’s Nursery were invited to join their children for a series of special drop-in sessions.

Parents and grandparents visited the children in the First Steps and Tweenies rooms during the week running up to Mothers’ Day. As well as talking to members of staff about their child’s development, they saw the kinds of games and toys the children enjoy on a daily basis at the Nursery. They also joined in, playing and reading with their child.

There were also several fun activities for children and their mums or grandmas to enjoy together in both rooms. The Tweenies room printed pictures with glitter and decorated biscuits with icing, while in First Steps the children helped to made biscuits.
