"Reluctantly, I wait for the holidays to come. I love coming to school. I am still doing cross country...the reason why I started was because Jessica Ennis inspired me."

Nursery Fun Benefits Sports Relief

Friday, 23 March 2012

Bolton School Nursery children have been doing their bit for Sport Relief 2012.

Money is still coming in but so far an amazing total of £1,233.98 has been raised by all age groups from First Steps to Pre-School.

First Steps girls and boys, aged from 0 to 2 years, did a sponsored obstacle course; whilst Tweenies children (2-3 years) undertook a sponsored walk around the playground and guessed the baby photo (matching baby to staff members).

Meanwhile, the Pre-School group did a sponsored piggy back run with their teddies. All children walked, skipped, and ran around the Bolton School Field and between them comfortably did their mile!

Miss Amanda Twigley, Deputy Manager at the Nursery, said: "The children did a fantastic job and at the end of it they were tired but very excited, having had lots of fun throughout the day."
