"The best thing I can say of the school was that it worked. It embedded in me habits of reading and thinking as well as an enduring curiosity about just about everything."

Wizard of Oz Delight for Children

Thursday, 08 December 2016

The Nursery Class, children in the Butterfly room and the whole of Beech House, Bolton School's Infant School, enjoyed a fabulous morning as they were treated to a musical adaptation of the old Christmas favourite, The Wizard of Oz.

The excited children gathered in the Infant School's Hall for a fast-moving, funny and dramatic performance. Dorothy and her friends - the cowardly Lion, the Tin Woodman and the Scarecrow - journey down the yellow brick road, defeating the Wicked Witch of the West, as Dorothy seeks out the help of the Wizard of Oz to get her back to her farmhouse in Kansas.
