Approaching from the North
Approach on the M6 and then the M61, exiting the M61 at junction 6. Take the A6027 for approximately 1.5 miles and then turn right onto the A673, Chorley New Road, following the sign for Bolton. Go straight ahead at the traffic lights junction with the A58 Ring Road and to the next set of traffic lights approximately two miles further on. Immediately after those lights, you will see Bolton School on your right. Bolton School Nursery is the next street on the Right which is Dobson Road.
Approaching from the South and West
Approach on the M6, the M62 and then the M60, exiting the M60 at junction 14 and join the M61. Follow the signs for Bolton and Preston. Leave the M61 at Junction 3 to join the A666 signposted for Bolton. Continue on the dual carriageway until you reach the traffic lights at the junction with the A673 (Topp Way). Turn left onto the A673 towards Horwich, Chorley and Preston; shortly afterwards, at the second set of traffic lights, join the A673 St George's Road by turning right. At the next lights take the left fork which keeps you on the A673 (Chorley New Road). Bolton School is approximately a half a mile along Chorley New Road on the left. Just before the school, Bolton School Nursery is situated on Dobson Road.
Approaching from the East
Approach on the M60, follow the instructions for 'South and West' after leaving the M60 at junction 14, the M61 intersection. Follow the signs for Bolton and Preston. Leave the M61 at Junction 3 to join the A666 signposted for Bolton. Continue on the dual carriageway until you reach the traffic lights at the junction with the A673 (Topp Way). Turn left onto the A673 towards Horwich, Chorley and Preston; shortly afterwards, at the second set of traffic lights, join the A673 St George's Road by turning right. Alternatively, approach on the A58, the main Bury/Bolton Road. Instead of veering sharp right on the A58 (when it becomes the Ring Road), go straight ahead through the lights junction and continue on the A579 to the next lights junction and take the left fork onto Bradford Street. Proceed to the junction with the A666, St Peter's Way. Turn right at the traffic lights onto St Peter's Way, and continue along the dual carriageway until you reach the traffic light junction with the A673 (Topp Way). Turn left onto the A673 towards Horwich, Chorley and Preston; shortly afterwards, at the second set of traffic lights, join the A673 St George's Road by turning right.
