Arts & Conference Centre at Bolton School
BSS Events and Lettings is part of the Bolton School Foundation
and is charged with the responsibility of hiring out the School's
buildings and sports amenities to the public. The 32 acre campus
offers outstanding facilities and the following can be hired for a
variety of purposes:
- The Arts & Conference Centre, with its upper and lower
halls and state-of-the-art technology, is used for a wide range of
events, including weddings, exhibitions (everything from wedding
fairs to model railways), fashion shows and conferences
- The School's Main Halls can accommodate up to 400 guests and
provide a spectacular backdrop for civil wedding ceremonies
- Located half a mile away from the main site, the Leverhulme
Pavilion provides an excellent stand-alone meeting facility, which
can cater for up to 30 people
- With 7 shale courts and 11 hard courts, Leverhulme Tennis
Centre and Pavilion is perfect for individual coaching sessions,
tournaments, team meetings and practice sessions
- In an idyllic setting, the Brookside Pavilion - with two halls
(which can accommodate 60 and 40 people in theatre style) and
breakout rooms and catering facilities, is an excellent venue for
meetings, classes and training courses
- The Sports Hall provides facilities for a variety of
activities, including football, netball, basketball, volleyball,
badminton, indoor cricket, tennis and trampoline
- The Swimming Pool has facilities for water polo, sub aqua and
indoor canoeing, as well as hosting Bolton Splash! Community Swim
Club, for children of all abilities aged between 4 and 12 years
old
- With the potential to host cricket, football (4 pitches), rugby
(3 pitches) and lacrosse on the highest quality playing fields, our
premises are utilised for a variety of different sporting events,
leisure activities and tournaments - there are also changing
facilities for up to 14 teams!
- The School premises are also regularly hired out as a backdrop
for dramas and film productions.
