"When I return to Bolton School to talk to pupils about entrepreneurship, my message is to 'go for it'. This is an attitude that I had instilled in me during my time at the school where my curiosity was fuelled and I became interested in ideas."

Year 7 boys are trained in the core skills of gymnastics as part of their PE lessons.

From September to February, pupils work on their floor work and put together a sequence made up of six balances and travelling movements. Each pupil across the five forms is then judged and marked on their sequence. The pupils performing at the highest level progress to a final, which is viewed by the whole year group and where their sequence is judged by a panel of PE staff. An overall winner is chosen and certificates of achievement are awarded by the Headmaster.

In Year 8, the focus is on vaulting.
