Bolton School Proud to Sponsor BoSPAA Awards

Bolton School are proud to be supporting Bolton’s local community by sponsoring the category of ‘Coach of the Year’ at this year’s BoSPAA Sports Awards.

BoSPAA (Bolton Sport and Physical Activity Alliance) is made up of organisations from Bolton Council, Health, Education and the Community and Voluntary sector, who provide sport and leisure activities for the people of Bolton. The main aim is to encourage participation and to profile the work of sport and leisure, making lives better through sport and physical activity.

Each year to recognise talent, and the support the residents of Bolton give to developing sports from grassroots through to Elite sports, the BoSPPA awards are held, supported by local businesses. Previous winners have included Jason Kenny, Ola Abidogun and Amir Khan.

The prestigious evening awards ceremony will be held on the 20th September and Old Boy of Bolton School and President of the International Paralympic Association, Sir Philip Craven, will be a VIP guest. Categories are:

• Coach of the year

• Club of the year

• Volunteer of the year

• Unsung Hero of the year

• Sports Achiever of the year

• Disabled Sports Achiever of the year

• Changing Lifestyle Recognition of the year

• Junior Sports Team of the year

• Young Volunteer of the year

• Senior Sports Team of the year
