"The classic Bolton School combination is hard work, good friends, challenging and thought-provoking teaching, a healthy desire to puncture the self-important and the sense that you can work hard to achieve things in life. "

Boys' Division Remembrance Assembly

Wednesday, 13 November 2013

Students and staff from Bolton School Boys’ Division attended a Remembrance Day Assembly to commemorate soldiers who fought in conflicts from World War I to the present day.

The assembly encouraged the boys to remember those who gave their lives, and to be inspired by stories of bravery.

Donations were made by the boys to the Poppy Appeal.

The assembly ended with a procession through the Great Hall and the laying of poppy wreaths by Sixth Form pupils.
